Can I export my designations to text or video? With scrolling text?
Can I share with or send/transfer a designation list to another OnCue user?
Can I import tuned lists or import all of my designations at once?
Designation Lists are the page/line clips of the deposition testimony for the purpose of playback in court. You will need a synchronized transcript file (.mdb or an OnCue xml) and the raw deposition video to use this feature (see Adding Synchronized Transcripts).
Designation Lists can be exported to either video file or text file and can be imported by text file or by OnCue xml file from other cases.
An OnCue designation xml export is the best way to transfer/share fine-tuned and linked designation lists with another OnCue case.
Note: Selecting and exporting multiple lists creates a video file for each list. It does not create one big video file. To accomplish this easily without impacting your existing lists, select the lists you want included, right-click, and choose Create New Designation List from Selection.
Warning: exporting designation lists does not recognize auto-advance arrows that are turned left in the list. If you need to export a list as separate clips, see Split Designation Lists for more details. |
Export to Video File
You can export your designation lists to a video file by right-clicking a selected designation list and hovering over Export. The options are shown below. NOTE: When exporting video with links - you need more than .1s before and after the link on a designation to avoid export errors.

You can also export using highlighter colors but the player you use must be able compatible.
